Webinar – Reflect Back to Reason Forward: A SoTL Framework

The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, or SoTL, is a process of systematic inquiry into the practice of teaching and learning in one’s own classroom.
In this interactive webinar, we will define SoTL, introduce participants to Peter Felten’s (2013) Principles of Good Practice of SoTL, and provide an overview of Hutchins taxonomy of questions in SoTL inquiry. Participants will be able to listen and engage with two SoTL scholars and graduates of EduCATE (a course offered by the Teaching Commons) as they share their own SoTL research. This webinar will furthermore take participants through a guided approach to doing their own SoTL inquiry.
