Whether you’ve been designing and teaching tutorials, for years, months or days, or are just thinking about preparing for your first tutorial in the winter semester, this workshop has something to offer you. We will consider different ways to structure tutorials so that you can incorporate activities to engage students and balance this with the content, skills and assessments required for your tutorial. For those of you with experience, this is an opportunity for you to reflect on your own structure and share what you do and what has been working or not working. Those of you new to designing tutorials may reflect on your experiences as students and identify what you might incorporate from your experiences and what you would change. Whatever your experience level, by the end of the workshop you will have incorporated new ideas into the design and structure of your tutorial.
