This 2-hour workshop will provide an overview of strategies, tools, and tips for coding qualitative data. A case study will be presented and attendees will be walked through a hands-on exercise to help guide them through the coding process. The workshop will also include a broader discussion of assessment and evaluation (e.g. creating and aligning outcomes, formative and summative assessments, and sharing assessment results) in the context of the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL).
