Never a Wasted Moment: Becoming Super Efficient and Effective at Course Administration and Teaching

October 18, 2017 @ 10:00 am – 11:00 am
Victor Dehdaleh Building Room 1014 (formerly TEL Bldg.)
Lisa Endersby

We start with the premise that we are deeply committed to our teaching and to our students, and that we will strive to be the best possible university instructor we can be.  But there are so many things that compete for our time.  This workshop will focus on finding ways to be more efficient, so that we can maximize the use of our time.  Whether it is course administration, departmental requirements, curriculum preparation, email and all the others things that seem to bog us down and take up all our time, the instructor will share his secrets to teaching 25 university courses a year and balancing a family life – and winning teaching awards!

Facilitator: Peter P. Constantinou, PhD is a teaching stream faculty member in the School of Public Policy and Administration at York University and winner of numerous teaching awards, including the President’s University-Wide Teaching award at York University.

Date: Wednesday, October 18

This session will run from 10am-11am in DB 1014
