This workshop is designed for Psychology Graduate Students who have received a Marker/Grader position. This one hour session will give a brief overview of perspectives on grading, the importance of feedback, as well as offer participants practical strategies for dealing with grade appeals and challenges concerning grading. Participants will have a chance to grade sample short answer questions and also discuss and develop responses to common student complaints.

Sessions will be held from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., February 13, 2017, in Behavioural Science Building, Room 061

This workshop will count towards the Teaching Commons ‘Record of Completion’ certificate
