Is there something new you’d like to try in your teaching or something you’d like to change but you just don’t have the time? As course directors our time is often impacted by a variety of factors. Maybe you are asked to teach different courses each year, meaning your time is spent always planning new courses. Or, perhaps you are teaching courses outside of your primary area of expertise and your time is spent on content, especially in the case of contract faculty who may be teaching in many different departments. Organizing new courses and making adjustments to existing ones can be challenging. Regardless of what is impacting your time, please consider spending 2 hours in this workshop to save you hours each year!
Teaching award winner, Dr. Rob Heynen, will engage you in discussions, sharing experiences and strategies for overcoming any challenges you are experiencing. We will also share techniques and resources to enhance your teaching and classroom experience, ranging from course design through to classroom strategies.
